Chloe made it to the Elite Eight round at EOnline’s Your Girl on Top competetion!! All we have to say about this Elite Eight round of Girl on Top is ouch, ouch, ouch and ouch, because the matchups are downright painful for us die-hard TV fans. Two CW faves are going head-to-head in the first game: How are we supposed to decide between Smallville’s Chloe (Allison Mack) and Gossip Girl’s Blair (Leighton Meester)?!

1) Lana was quite nice – scenes such as Lana and Clark screaming in the football field together show she was spirited, optimistic about life and she read a lot of books showing she was thoughtful.
2) Lana’s red underwear in Nicodemus isn’t exactly standard issue for a 15 year old. Did she go out and buy it especially in her frenzied state? I imagine she bought the dress too. Kristin Kreuk wanted a body double used for the swimming pool/red underwear scene because she didn't think it was suitable for a fifteen year old girl to be undressing like that on TV which is fair enough.
3) Nell’s house was big and yet they chose to have Lana’s birthday party in the mansion. I take it the party was for Lana’s 15th since freshman year in the states is normally for 14 year olds who will be 15 by the end of the school year/summer in time for sophomore year. Still, I would have thought they would have saved the party for her sixteenth birthday.
4) Lex was pretty easy going though his interaction with Nixon, smashing the meter maids car and his club zero past show us his darker side beginning to emerge even back then. Plus there is his obsession with Clark.
5) Lex got kicked out of Met U. Does anyone in Smallville ever finish their college education?
6) Gabe’s humour with the kids on their visit to the Luthor plant reminded me of the dad from Malcolm in the Middle. Where is Gabe now?
7) I can’t remember what happened to the fertilizer plant and Level 3. I think they got blown up, that seemed to happen to a lot of places in later seasons.
8) Sir Harry (Victoria’s Dad) was supposed to be a Knight but sounded like a cockney when Victoria didn’t. I wonder what he got his knighthood for.
9) Chloe clearly didn’t think much of Lana and seemed to be quite stroppy. It was understandable she got upset when Lana became editor of The Torch for one episode but all the digs at Clark about his feelings for Lana were spiteful. Can’t blame her though.
10) Clark looking at Lana in his telescope was creepy and shows us from the beginning how their relationship was never going to be a healthy one.

slingshot or fire it at him out of a cannon, inevitably, the cannon
tilted up, shot it in the air, it fell down, and made an anvil
shaped impression on Wyle E. Coyotes head.
